Luxury Vacation in Sweden

1 day.

Arrival to Stockholm. Your guide will meet you upon arrival and will take you to Grand Hotel Stockholm, located in the center of the city, just in front of the Royal Palace. Dinner at Franska Matsalen.

2 day.

In the morning your guide will take you for 3 hour city tour. Discover a city like no other – a city built on 14 islands, where you are never far from the water. Well-preserved medieval buildings stand alongside modern architecture. Stockholm is also home of the Nobel Prize. And just outside the city, the archipelago of 24 000 islands is waiting to be explored. You will visit famous City Hall, will walk in Gamla Stan (Old Town), visit the museums of the Royal Palace and Vasa museum. Lunch in one of the restaurants in the city. In the afternoon you will have an unforgettable cruise in the archipelago of Stockholm, which stretches eastward from the Swedish capital for about 40 miles into the Baltic Sea and extends about twice that distance north to south. Many of the islands that you will pass are dotted with summer cottages, some have hotels and restaurants. In the evening you will return to Stockholm; overnight at Grand Hotel. Dinner at Bon LIoc. 3 day.

Today your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will depart from Stockholm towards Kalmar, a medieval city with a most attractive location on the Baltic Sea. Upon arrival to Kalmar – check in to Kalmar Slottshotell (Castle Hotel). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4 day.

 
Today you will explore Kalmar and the fascinating province of Smaland, where you will find Orrefors and Kosta Boda, two of the most famous glass works in the world. Watch the glassblowers at work and visit the engraving and glass painting work shops. You can buy crystal at bargain prices at the factory outlets. Dinner and overnight at Kalmar Slottshotell.

5 day.

In the morning you will depart from Kalmar and your guide will drive you to Copenhagen. You will make a stop at university town of Lund and Malmo which is Sweden’s third largest city and a commercial centre in southern Sweden. From having been an industrial city, Malmo has transformed into a knowledge-city. Lunch in one of the restaurants on the route. In the evening you will arrive to Copenhagen; check-in to D’Angleterre Hotel. Dinner at Esemble (Michelin starred restaurant – 2 stars).

6 day.

In the morning your guide will pick you up from the hotel and will take you for 3 h tour of the Danish capital. You will have a chance to visit all the most famous sights of Copenhagen: The Little Mermaid, Royal Palace and Rosenborg Palace and Nyhavn – Copenhagen’s revitalized canal district, once was home to Hans Christian Andersen. Today it’s lined with casual cafes where you can enjoy lunch and outstanding Danish beer. In the evening you will visit Tivoli Gardens, a distinctively European pleasure park – the most magical spot in Copenhagen. Enjoy all-ages fun, delightful rides and inviting restaurants for dinner and snacks.

7 day.

Today you will spend the whole day outside of Copenhagen and will visit the castles of North Zealand. First you will visit the beautiful Frederiksborg Castle, in the magnificent surroundings of Hillerod. The visit here includes the outstanding National Museum, the Chapel and the Knights’ Hall. The tour continues past the Royal Family’s summer residence – Fredensborg Palace, in the middle of a lovely park and surrounded by the idyllic Esrom Lake. Then you will continue to Elsinor, and will see the outer walls and towers of impressive Kronborg Castle, setting of Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet. In the evening you will return to Copenhagen. Dinner at Noma restaurant.

8 day.

Today your guide will pick you up from the hotel and will take you to the airport. Departure to the home destination.
