There are plenty of activities. Hill walking, horse riding, golf and plenty of sights nearby. The south of Iceland is famous for sightseeing and spectacular mountains and coastal sceneries. Staying in the lodge will safe time if you are going to take some sightseeing in the south area of Iceland which is the main attraction on the island. There are many gourmet restaurants within easy reach. Each lodge is only rented out privately.

Where?
The lodge is located in finest and best vacation area in Iceland in Grimsnes. The beautiful river Sogid runs quietly near the lodge. The lodge stands alone in a wide open space, 360° view scenery is amazing with mountains coming up from the plain fields.

What to do?
There are nice walkways around the lodge. Short distance to the National park Thingvellir and Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir and the glacier Langjokull. Horse riding and golf courses are nearby. White river rafting and kayak on the lake Thingvallavatn.

The front porch is about 120 fm2, big play area for kids or for a quiet drink in the summer sun.

Hot tub/Jacuzzi
We have a natural geothermal hot tub/Jacuzzi at the Lodge and is great for 8 person. Imagine the relaxation you’ll feel nestled in 43 degree water your every nerve in your body will relax while you watch for falling stars in the clear night sky.

Kitchen
The dining area is modern with fully loaded and well equipped kitchen for self catering.
The kitchen comes complete with ample dishes, pans, crockery, glassware – tumblers, wine, beer and even champagne glasses (for that romantic moment on the balcony!), cutlery, There is a four ring halogen hob, fan oven/grill, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, large Lean Grill, blender, dishwasher, washing machine / tumble dryer (in separate cupboard off the house), wine rack, spice rack, toaster, kettle, tea pot, cafeteria, t-towels and dish cloths.

Nice and cozy sitting area with spacey sofa and chairs, sit back and relax while sipping a drink and watching the 57” flat screen TV or watch the sun going behind the mountains in the west making the sky red.

Rooms at the Lodge
The lodge has 3 rooms. The master bedroom has a double twin bed that is made by Mr. Ragnar Bjornson an Icelandic bed maker. He provides best beds available in Iceland. The second bedroom has a double twin room. The third bedroom has a double twin bed and also a queen size bed. Living room sofa for two person. All beds are 90 cm x 200 cm.
Except the one in the big room it is 153 cm x 203 cm. With all this we have 4 extra hotel beds that are easy to move into the rooms. They are all 80 cm x 200 cm.
